Built around the operation

Better flow from gate to guest experience.

Events depend on efficient movement and dependable service infrastructure. The Mod Shop creates modified containers for guest entry, credentialing, ticketing, concessions, bars, security, retail, and back-of-house support. Units can be designed as permanent venue assets or relocatable seasonal installations with a cohesive black-and-orange visual identity.

Operating priorities

Decisions that shape the build.

A useful modular unit starts with the site, workflow, equipment, people, and approval path—not a one-size-fits-all floor plan.

Plan the unit around the guest journey

The right event container begins with approach, queue, transaction, service, and exit. A ticket booth needs protected staff positions and clear communication. A turnstile unit needs lane widths, equipment clearances, and controlled bypass access. A bar or concession unit needs service openings, work counters, storage, utilities, and a safe staff circulation path.

We develop opening locations and interior layouts around the expected operating sequence. That helps owners avoid improvised counters, blocked sightlines, and service equipment that competes for the same space.

Built for setup, operation, and secure storage

Seasonal units must work on opening day and close securely after the crowd leaves. Lockable shutters, personnel doors, protected glazing, durable counters, washable finishes, exterior lighting, and integrated equipment provisions can all be incorporated. Lift points, site access, and utility connection locations should be reviewed before fabrication.

For multi-unit venues, a repeatable module can establish consistent guest touchpoints across entrances, zones, or properties. Colors, trim, signage zones, and service details can reinforce the venue brand without compromising day-to-day durability.

Coordinate public safety and local approvals

Event occupancy, accessibility, egress, food service, alcohol service, fire protection, electrical work, and temporary structure requirements are governed by the project location and use. Early coordination with venue operations, the local authority having jurisdiction, and qualified design professionals is essential.

The Mod Shop can fabricate the container and its specified features while the project team confirms final code, permit, site, and operational requirements. That division of responsibility keeps the build focused and decisions documented.

Project questions

What teams ask before they build.

Can an event container be moved between seasons?+

Many units can be designed for relocation. Delivery access, lifting strategy, utility connections, attached decks or stairs, and installed equipment should all be considered during design.

Can you integrate turnstiles or access-control equipment?+

We can plan reinforced openings, equipment zones, power pathways, counters, and staff areas around owner-selected systems. Final system selection and commissioning remain project-specific.

Can a container bar close securely?+

Yes. Lockable service shutters, secure personnel doors, protected storage, and durable exterior assemblies can be included in the modification package.
